Ongoing education courses are required in most industries, which have licenses or in those industries where the government supervises the industry somehow. Some of these rules, laws and regulations are put into effect to help the consumer, investor, patient or the homeowner. Each person who is in the industry must go to ongoing education classes to show that they are competent and follow the rules of the industry.

Sometimes this works and sometimes it just slows down the industry and naturally ends up hurting the investor, consumer, homeowner or patient. It often adds costs to those who buy the services or products of that industry and that is truly unfortunate. Worse off for ongoing education courses and companies that offer that service most of the people in the industry hate them.

They know that they are necessary but they hate the ongoing education courses, mostly because they are mandatory and have nothing to do with the actual ongoing nature of the business or industry they are in. With all this said how can an ongoing education course or company that offers such services participate in positive public relations and industry goodwill programs in order to attract those participants in the industry to buy their ongoing education services to get the required credit to continue their profession?

It is not easy but one way is to hold free seminars or Tele seminars and give some of the education away for free in advance in hopes of signing up students. Please consider all this in 2006.

The citizens of the early Roman Republic enjoyed an education system similar to ancient Athens. It was voluntary and parents paid tutors or schools directly. There was very little government interference, so a vibrant education free market of tutors, schools, and apprenticeships developed.

One aspect of Roman society that compromised their education system was that Roman parents wanted their children to learn knowledge that only Greek teachers could provide. However, most Greeks in Rome at the time were slaves.

As a result, the Greek teachers could not personally or financially benefit by their work. Often their morale was low and they were subject to harsh discipline. Unlike the free teachers in ancient Athens, Greek slave-teachers in Rome had little incentive to innovate or continually improve their skills. As a result, the quality of education stagnated.

Also, a majority of the Roman population was slaves, both from Greece and other areas Rome had conquered. Naturally, these slaves had no rights and no control over their children’s education.

Things got worse after Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 B.C. and Emperor Augustus took power. The quasi-democratic Republic turned into the dictatorial Roman Empire and was ruled by a succession of Emperors. To secure their power, each succeeding Emperor then tightened their grip on education. They increasingly regulated education, suppressed teachers who spoke against the Emperor, and eventually required teachers of Greek and Latin rhetoric to be licensed and paid by the State. The quality of education in Rome then grew progressively worse.

The parallels with the history of education in America are striking. Here too, when our education system was voluntary and parents paid teachers and schools directly, we had a high-quality, constantly improving education system. After state governments created compulsory public schools, education in America has been going down-hill ever since.

Education is doubtless the backbone of social standing (and survival). It is, however, warrants a massive investment. Any individual needing money for education can avail a loan that fits his status. Loan amounts are influenced by the kind of education the loan seeker is looking to pursue. The repayment options are flexible here. These loans give up to a decade for repayments.

The Internet remains the most comprehensive source for availing all loans, education included. The surfeit of Internet sites provides the loan seeker a sea of loans to work with. Education loans provide funding for tuition fees, books, computer, and also student travel. An education loan assists the student in looking after all these expenses.

The two principal federal education loan programs are the Federal Family Education Loan Program and the Federal Direct Loan Program. In the former, the bank, school or the credit union is the lender. While with federal direct loans programs, the department of education is the lender.

Private education loans are provided to people for monetary backup to their educational plans. Private education loans are not authorized by other government agencies but are offered by private institutions. These education loans programs cater to undergraduate as well as graduate programs.

Education loans assist in planning life after graduation. Still, an education loan is a big financial obligation. It is usually the first sizeable loan for people. It is advisable not to be wholly reliant on education loans for financing education. Grants, scholarships, fellowships, work-study programs et al are other forms of financial aid. In fact, most financial aid offices in schools or universities help in this regard. They provide greater insight to the education loans one is seeking.

Education is like food and shelter. It is considered basic to one’s life. While food is for health and shelter for the body, education is for the mind.

Education enhances one’s knowledge and as the saying goes; Knowledge is Power. However, power that a person posses will be dependent on how an individual uses it. A person could ultimately choose to use knowledge and power for the benefit of themselves, for others or to be simply used in the destruction of mankind. Education is the knowledge of putting one’s potentials to maximum use. Education makes man a right thinker. It tells man how to think and how to make decision.

This is where the education should be given importance. As education is geared towards individual development, such development should eventually transform into social development. For individuals and nations, it is key to creating, applying, and spreading knowledge-and thus to the development of dynamic, globally competitive economies.

It is one important policy that a state must promote, as education is the only means to understand its history, culture and to some extent their religion. Education is the only means to unite a country, a people as nation. This is to say that education is a must if a nation aspires to achieve growth and development and more importantly sustain it. The importance of education cannot be neglected by any nation. And in today’s world, the role of education has become even more vital. It is an absolute necessity for economic and social development of any nation.

The cost of a higher education is outrageous these days. The price of going to college is so steep that thousands are unable to go because they cannot afford it. Even if people can afford to go to college many are not because they do not see the point in spending all the money to continue education but they should reconsider. Many of the universities and colleges are now offering a free online education sample to try and encourage kids to get online degrees.

Now, just because a college is offering a free online education sample does not mean that they are offering free online degrees. The colleges are offering a free sample to get your attention and to see if you like it and if you do then you have to pay tuition fees to continue taking online classes. Here are some colleges and universities that offer free online courses:

-Eagle Forum University- This university offers a basic free online education about the American government and it’s history. These courses are great for anyone who wants a brief history of the US.

-The University Of Washington- This university probably has the best online education you can access for free. They have a program called UW Educational Outreach which is a program that tries to get as many kids to pursue a college education as possible. The reason this is the best online education for free is because it covers a wide variety of courses from World War II to HTML basics. If you are debating about going to a college, try out this online education and you will most likely be convinced to further your education at one of the colleges.

-Lancaster University- If you are interested in computers this British University is offering online courses, for free, on basic computer language and web authoring subjects. If you want to get into the world of the internet go to this universities site.

-Brigham Young University- The final university also offers a wide variety of subjects that you are able to take online for free. Some of the topics you could take are family history, religious scripture study (covering the Mormon religion), and family life. These are just some of the basic free online courses you are able to take.

The thing you need to know before pursuing a free online education is that the courses do not count as credit and they do not count as courses you can use as part of a degree. The courses are meant to attract you to go to college which they will do if you take them.

This would be a really great idea if it were really true. In some cases when you do a search for free education online you do get results, however after you go to the web site to see more about it, then you find the truth about free education online.

It is in fact free education online, however there are fees and other things you have to buy in order to take whatever it is you are wanting to learn more about.

Then, you go to a different site completely and find out that you can get a free education online, if you comply with certain college incentive programs.

So, where is the free education that applies, with no attachments of any kind? There are some but they are few and you really have to do some searching. That is if it is for something worth learning in the first place.

What I am trying to say is that yes, there is free education online in forms of typing or language skills, phonics, or some other easy thing. But is there really free education online without any type of cost. Where you take a full fledged course and receive a certificate or diploma as part of the free education online. I’m really not sure.

I have done a lot of research and it seems there is always something attached to the free education online that you find, and when you find a possible or maybe free education online, it is only for a certain amount of time and then after that you start paying if you don’t complete the course in a certain time frame, then the free education online, becomes costly. You have gone so far, do they really think you are going to just quit? It just doesn’t seem to make any sense at all.

Then, I found this course finder that says they will help you find free education online and all this other information, however, the so called course finder doesn’t seem to be able to find any thing you are looking for in a free education online.

So ultimately, you try another and once again it seems you are being let on a wild goose chase once again.

There are free education online programs and other web sites you’ll find, however as you get into the web site and read more into it, I have a feeling you will soon find the truth of the matter. Although some people really don’t care, because once they get to the web site, they are so in to what the site has to offer they essentially aren’t worried about the small fees they have to pay or the e books they have to buy and then download.

Somewhere I am sure there is free education online, because there are so many search results that I didn’t check however, you need to have some time set aside to where you can check out several of the free education online web sites in order to find one that actually means what it says. For the most part, there seems to be a conflict in the image of free education online.

Such IT Training or Corporate training usually follows a model where participant’s sign up for a chosen course and then participate in a series of different modules over the course’s content during the next 2 to 5 days. Managerial training, on the other hand, pertains to the programs that facilitate the learning process. However, it is quite common to refer to management or manager development when talking about programs or approaches.

Online training for IT Professionals will always be the best option because of the easy accessibility to the different courses, hands-on through practices, exercises and the valuable help of true professionals on each subject. IT project management training is provided by a large number of online and land-based entities. Look out for a huge database of information from online directory, find all type of training under one roof itself.

In case of Leadership training or management training, managers should be trained in such a way that they are able to cope with new demands, new problems and new challenges. Indeed, executives have a responsibility to provide training and development opportunities for their employees so that the employees can reach their full potential. The cost of training represents a major investment, so executives are justifiably concerned about the effectiveness of the training.

Why Keep Learning?

There’s no doubting that adult education is a huge industry nowadays. With the job market growing ever more competitive, and employees being expected to continually develop themselves professionally (whatever their profession), ‘lifelong learning’ has become a necessity, rather than just an added bonus. Failure to upskill can be the difference between getting the job of your dreams, and losing out to a slightly more qualified candidate – or simply being passed up yet again for a promotion.

Even for those outside of the workforce, education is the most reliable path to better relationships, a better financial situation, and better quality of life over all. Jim Rohn, America’s foremost business philosopher, has been known to say that ‘Formal education will make you a living – self education will make you a fortune!’

But what is it about internet education (or ‘webucation’) that makes it so popular? How do we know if online learning is right for us, or if we’re better off signing up for face-to-face classes somewhere local?

Advantages of Learning Online
The most obvious advantage of online education is its sheer flexibility in terms of time. It allows you to study totally on your own timetable, around the many other commitments you already have in your life. You can study while working fulltime, while you’re doing shiftwork or while caring for children or relatives. Whether you’re at your best early in the morning or late in the evening, you can study at a time that suits you. You don’t have to worry about catching tutors during their office hours, and courses are available to you 24/7, so you don’t have to worry about fitting in with your lecturer’s schedule.

Equally helpful is the geographical flexibility it gives you. Suddenly, transport logistics become a non-issue. You can study courses based in other cities – indeed in other countries. Travel costs like petrol and parking or public transport are a thing of the past; and you don’t have to factor in travel time either (not to mention cutting out any rushing between classes if you’re studying more than one at a time!)

Almost more important than logistics for many students, however, is the fact that online learning allows you to personalise your study. If you already know some of the material in the course syllabus, you don’t need to wait for your fellow students to cover it before you move on to what *you* want to learn. If you’re having difficulty understanding a particular concept, you can spend as much time on it as you want without feeling you’re slowing your classmates down. You can find courses that are delivered in the medium *you* learn best in – whether that be audio, video, or the written word.

Online courses can be far more affordable than face-to-face classes as well. Fees are often lower; even before you factor in the lack of transport costs, parking, childcare fees, and any need to eat out. Most online courses will allow you to study totally at your own pace, so you can end up completing your course in far less time than it would take if you’d been attending weekly classes.

Is Online Education For Everyone?
The truth is that internet education won’t suit everyone. For a start, you need to have a basic understanding of how to use a computer and connect to the internet, and not everyone does. However, the fact that you’re reading this article online suggests you already have that understanding. You need to have regular Internet access – and it will be easier for you to study to your own timetable if you can connect to the ‘Net at home, rather than at a friend’s or a public library.

Just as for face-to-face classes (perhaps a little more so), you need to be organised and fairly self-motivated. You need to know exactly why you want to complete the course you enrol in, and really understand what difference passing it will make in your life. You need to be able to plan out when you’re going to dedicate time to studying, and have the commitment to honour your plans.

If you know what you want to get out of online education, however, and you’re willing to follow the study plans you set for yourself, ‘webucation’ can provide you with huge opportunities! It can reduce the logistical hassles of studying important courses, while providing you with a far more enjoyable, convenient and personalised learning experience. All this, and often at a price far less than face-to-face classes would cost you – it’s no wonder Forbes magazine described internet education as “one of the biggest emerging trends of the decade”.
